Jubilee Birth Center exists to create a place where every woman is known, every family is supported, and birth is approached with reverence for both the wisdom of the body and the individuality of every family. Through evidence-based midwifery care, meaningful relationships, and a deep respect for the normal physiology of birth, we care for each family with skill, compassion, and integrity. We believe that caring well for women strengthens families, and strong families strengthen communities.
Amy has been a midwife in Hawaii and Montana for 14 years and is Jubilee's acting clinical director. After experiencing both hospital and out-of-hospital birth herself, she felt called to help create a place where women could receive personalized, relationship-centered care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Amy is known for her calm presence, thoughtful guidance, and deep trust in the birth process. She believes every family deserves to be heard, respected, and supported as they make decisions about their care. If you've ever had Amy palpate your belly, you've probably heard her signature greeting to babies before they're even born: "Hello, little friend."
When she's not caring for families, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, who continue to remind her why this work matters so much.
Angel's passion for midwifery is rooted in both personal experience and professional service. As a licensed paramedic, she brings years of emergency medicine experience to birth work, combining strong clinical judgment with a calm, compassionate presence. Her background has strengthened her commitment to evidence-based care while reinforcing her belief that birth is a normal, powerful process deserving of individualized support.
After the hospital birth of her first child, Angel knew she wanted something different for future pregnancies. She welcomed her next two children at Jubilee Birth Center and her fourth at home, experiences that transformed the way she viewed birth and inspired her to become a midwife. Today, she is passionate about helping women feel informed, respected, and supported throughout their own journeys into motherhood.
Angel and her high school sweetheart are raising four wonderful children together. Outside the birth center, she enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, and spending time with her family. Having grown up in the Brazos Valley, she feels honored to care for families in the community she has always called home.
Lindsey's path to midwifery has been anything but conventional. A background in journalism taught her to listen, emergency services taught her to stay steady, photography taught her to bear witness, and advocacy taught her to protect autonomy. Midwifery became the place where all of those experiences found their purpose.
Whether she's sitting beside a family during a prenatal visit or supporting them through birth, Lindsey is known for her calm presence, thoughtful questions, and ability to help people feel seen. She believes some of the most important parts of her work happen through listening, building trust, and walking alongside families as they make decisions that are right for them.
Outside of the birth center, Lindsey is raising three children, restoring an eclectic mid-century home one project at a time, and rarely passes up a good thrift store or antique shop. She still believes every person has a story worth hearing—and considers it a privilege to bear witness to the beginning of so many new ones.
Marissa is a Certified Professional Midwife, and soon-to-be Montana Licenced MIdwife whose passion for birth began long before she entered formal training. Having been born at home herself, she grew up understanding birth as a normal and powerful part of life and has carried that perspective into her work with families.
She is deeply committed to informed consent, emotional support, and helping women feel confident in their ability to navigate pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. Marissa has a gift for helping families understand the deeper meaning behind what they're experiencing.
In fact, if you've spent much time around her, you've probably noticed that she can turn almost any situation into a birth analogy—a skill that reflects both her sense of humor and her profound understanding of the physical and emotional journey of birth.
Sandra is a Registered Nurse, Certified Professional Midwife, and Licensed Midwife whose career in healthcare spans decades. After years in emergency nursing and raising five children, she followed her long-standing dream of becoming a midwife and has never looked back.
Families appreciate Sandra's steady presence, gentle encouragement, and genuine kindness. She has a remarkable ability to make people feel cared for, whether she's supporting them through labor or simply checking in after a difficult day.
Within the team, Sandra is known for her generous heart and her legendary use of emojis, both of which regularly bring warmth—and plenty of laughter—to group conversations.
Megan and Jennifer are Licensed Midwife Apprentices who are learning the art and science of midwifery alongside the experienced providers at Bozeman Birth Center. Their passion for supporting families, eagerness to learn, and commitment to relationship-based care make them an important part of the team. Whether they're helping behind the scenes, assisting at births, or supporting families during appointments, Megan and Jennifer bring warmth, dedication, and a genuine love for the work they do.

We follow the same clinical standards as hospital-based providers in a low-intervention, high-support environment, allowing you to feel safe, seen, and in charge of your care.
We want you empowered and equipped to make decisions. We believe in giving families options, sharing evidenced-based data and providing thorough education.
The experience should be led by her voice, her choices, and her timing. Healthy, low-risk women can give birth safely in out-of-hospital settings, including in the water.
We can hear you thinking, “You have a new baby. Of course your life will change.” And yeah, that’s totally true.
But it’s also not what we mean.
Giving birth changes how you feel about yourself. It changes the way you see your own strength, the way you trust yourself, and the way you step into motherhood.
How you are treated during this transformation matters.
You deserve to be seen, heard, and understood as you navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. You deserve to know what is happening and why. You deserve to have a voice in your care and authority over what happens to your body and your baby.
We want you to walk away from your birth knowing that your questions mattered. Your decisions mattered. That you were never simply "along for the ride."
To achieve this, we’re going to ask something of you, too.
Learn. Ask questions. Understand your options. Get curious about your body and birth. Know what matters to you before you’re asked to make decisions you weren’t expecting to face.
Informed choice requires information. You don't have to have all the answers, but you do need to know enough to ask good questions, trust your own judgment, and make the decisions that are right for you and your family.
We’ll bring our knowledge, experience, and clinical skills. You bring something we can’t: YOU.

Midwives are trained healthcare professionals who specialize in low-risk pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and newborn care. At the heart of midwifery is a deep understanding of normal, physiologic birth and the ability to recognize when something falls outside of normal.
The word midwife means “with woman,” and that relationship is central to the way midwives practice. Rather than simply managing pregnancy and birth, midwives care for the whole person: taking time to listen, offering education and guidance, supporting informed decision-making, and building relationship throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
The Midwifery Model of Care begins with the understanding that pregnancy and birth are normal physiologic processes. Care is individualized to each woman and family, with interventions used thoughtfully and when medically indicated. Midwives monitor the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby, identify complications, manage appropriate concerns within their scope, and collaborate with or refer to other healthcare providers when a higher level of care is needed.
Midwifery is both an old profession and a modern one. Today’s midwives complete extensive education and clinical training and meet professional standards for certification and licensure. At Jubilee, our Certified Professional Midwives are licensed in Texas and specialize in out-of-hospital maternity care.
Simply put, midwives are experts in normal birth, trained to recognize when it isn’t normal, and committed to caring for women with skill, respect, and attention along the way.
A birth center is a freestanding healthcare facility designed specifically for pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and newborn care outside of the hospital. Care is typically provided by midwives and is intended for healthy women with low-risk pregnancies.
Birth centers offer a different environment for birth: comfortable, familiar, and designed to support normal physiology while providing skilled clinical care. Women are encouraged to move freely, eat and drink, labor in water, choose the positions that feel right, and surround themselves with the people they want beside them.
Midwives monitor the wellbeing of both mother and baby throughout labor and birth, with medications, emergency equipment, and established plans for consultation or hospital transfer when a higher level of care is needed.
Birth centers also have clear guidelines for who can safely give birth there. For appropriately screened, low-risk pregnancies, research supports planned birth-center birth as a safe option with lower rates of many medical interventions.
For families who want an out-of-hospital birth but aren’t quite ready to give birth at home, a birth center offers another option: the freedom and autonomy of midwifery care in a space built specifically for birth.
We carry IV supplies and medications used to prevent and treat maternal hemorrhage at both the birth center and home births. Our midwives are trained to recognize excessive bleeding early, respond promptly, and initiate transfer when a higher level of care is needed.
Most routine prenatal labs can be drawn right here at the birth center and sent directly to an accredited laboratory for processing. This allows us to incorporate lab work into your regular prenatal visits without adding another stop to your day.
We offer limited, non-diagnostic ultrasound in-house when a quick look can provide useful information during your care. When diagnostic imaging or a more comprehensive evaluation is needed, we’ll refer you to an appropriate imaging provider or specialist.
We keep many of the supplements we commonly recommend available right here at the birth center, so you don’t have to hunt them down elsewhere. We also carry a selection of herbal preparations, teas, and tinctures for families who choose to incorporate them into their care.
